Shilling, 324 West Sixteenth, will celebrate their 54th wedding anniversary Saturday, December 1, at an Open House. Friends are invited to call between 2 and 4 p. m.Mr. and Mrs. Shilling were married in Ada and have resided here, for the most part, since then. The house where the wedding was held, now torn down, stood between thearmory and Rosedale cemetery,Mrs. Shilling recalls. Reverend Armstrong, Baptist minister, read the nuptial vows.!! iThe couple was winner of Ada’s50th anniversary prize for being the oldest couple having resided here the longest period of time.At their Golden wedding anniversary, a celebration at the church was held, with a wedding ceremony read.Mr. Shilling, an interior decorator. retired several years ago.The couple has six children: Paul P. Shilling, chief electrician, with the U. S. Navy, stationed in San Diego, Calif.; Fairest Decker, Ontario, Calif.; Delton Shilling. Henry-etta. Tex.; Wesley and Tommy Shilling, both of Oklahoma City, and Finis Shilling, Ada.*The A. R. BoyetsAre Hosts AtFamily ReunionMr. and Mrs. A. R. Boyet, 817 South Cherry, were hosts Sunday at a family reunion.Dinner was served at high noon, the remainder of the day spent informally.Members of the family present for the event were Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Price, Oklahoma City; Mrs. Don Arrington, Oklahoma City; Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Childers, and daughter, Nancy Janice, Tulsa; Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Guthrie of Kenefic; Mr. and Mrs. Bud Childers of Tulsa; Norma Lee Childers, Tulsa; Mr. and Mrs. Bob Childers and daughter, Jana Lee, Tulsa; Ruth Ellen and Judy Childers and Ronnie Arrington, all of Oklahoma City.
