Golden Wedding AnniversaryMr. and Mrs. Koert BrogdenMr. and Mrs. Robert Brog-den of Glenboro celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary with a tea and family dinner on Saturday, Nov. 22nd, 1975, in the Christian Education Building of Glenboro United Church.Present for the occasion were the Brogden's 8 children, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Brog-den of Edmonton; Mr. and Mrs. Herman Joel (Pearl) of Glenboro; Mr. and Mrs. Jack McFadden (Edith) of Carman; Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Brogden of Brunkild; Mr. Mrs. M. Deleau (Eileen) of The Pas; Mr. Mrs. Albert Pring (Maxine) of Regina; Mr. Mrs. G. Millar (Shirley) of Rapid City and Jim Brogden of Winnipeg. There were 19 grandchildren present and 4 great grandchildren, as well as Mr. Brogden’s sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Keith of Bows-man, 'Manitoba.Bob Brogden of the Camille district, north of Holland, and Mamie Johns of Cypress River, were married in the Cypress River United Church Manse on November 24th, 1925 with Rev. Meech officiating. They farmed in the Camille and Stockton districts before settling on their farm, north of Glenboro where they still reside.Tea pourers on Saturday afternoon were Mrs. J. Ross. Mrs. Mattie Thornborough, Mrs. Den Rogers and Mrs. Mervyn Trimble. Granddaughters took care of the guest book and serving the guests. About 150 persons (Continued on Page Four)
