Mr, and Mr*. Charley Worley were married back in “the food old days,” on Nov. 26. 1886 and celebrated their 60th weddinganniversary.Mr. and Mrs. Worley were married in Dallas “when it wasn'tbut about naif the size of Big Spring non/* Mr. Worley said.Worley was at first a 50 cents a day farm hand and later entered employment of the T8tP railroad. He i« now retired. At that time Worley made $1 10 a day for 10 hours work, kept the family and paid rent. He added that his family had as much to eat then as now and reminisced about steak that sold for 10 cents a pound.The Worleys farmed at Veraon. Levelland and in Oklahoma for a number of years, and five years ago they moved here where they live with their daughter, Mrs. Alvin Sipes.The Worley* have four daughters. Mrs. Sipes. Mrs. Virgie Tuttles and Mrs. Minnie Williams ofLa Cruces, N.M., and Mrs. EthelGutherie of Sacramento, Calif.; and three sons. Carl Worley ofOklahoma Cily. and Dan and CecilWorley of Sacramento.
