Members of the original wedding party planning to attend the open house include Ira Gilbert Pate, Mrs. Ira B. Welch, Mrs. Wayne Longacre, Mrs. Mary E. Burris, Mr. and Mrs. Frank W. Baker, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gettman and Mr. Quen-sere Devlin.Mr. Gettman was born in Pomona and served in the Navy during World War I. Mrs. Gettman was bom in Colorado and moved to Los Angeles in 1906.Mr. Gettman served 47*4 years with the Claremont Unified School District before his retirement. He is a member of American Legion Post 299 of Chino and California State Employes Association of California.The couple belong to the United Church of Christ, Congregational, Claremont.
