Perkins and wife, their children and decendants made merry in observance of their fiftieth wadding anniversary. Their eight iuaft and daughters were all present, 23 of their 35 grandchildren, and five great grandchildren The sons and daughters are: Reuben of St. Paul, Ed ward of LaFarge, Arthur E. of Viroqua. Mrs. V. Wilt ofLaCrosse. Mrs PerJHughes of Bloom-fiiidfingdale, Mrs. Emil Eittfaon of Whites-town, Mrs Carl McDan^i of West by,Mrs. Ernest Davis of Litchfield, Minn.The day was happily spoht by the manytiou of kindred with a bountiful family din-the ner. Remembrances wre many ami sin, timely. A group picture was taken, and Samuel W Perkins and Alvira Cor-aaw were married at Hloimingdale on November 24, 1864, by James Smith,, E«q.
