Married Fifty YearsMr. and Mrs?. Diaries' Bender. SO South Hancock avonue, were married fifty years ago last- Saturday, hut the golden oriniveffin'fy was given a very quiet’ observance, asthe couple have planned to entertain their children at a reunion rind dinner party on Thanksgiving day. Bender'gave up farming soon after his marriage, and for a time conducted the OedurvJJle hotel in-the village of Cedarvillo, Bator lie and Mrs. Bender, went to Pasadena, Calif., but after living there than a’year decided there was no place like JUinpia and so returned to Stephenson county.-^Thirty-five years ago they came lo Freeport, where they, liava since made their - home.
