18,#yNinety-Fifth BirthdayLast Friday was Mrs. Catherine Workman’s 95th birthday and on Sunday the four children and fifty-two other relatives from far and near gathered at her home for the annual reunion. While Mrs. Workman is feeble, yet she is up a goodly portion of the time and Sunday she was one of the jolliest gathered at the table.She was born in Pennsylvania Nov. 19, 1825, and came to Indiana in 1856. Her husband, Otho Workman, died some 14 years ago. The four children are J. B. Workman, Mrs. Cynthia Barnes, Mrs. Jose Chambers and Miss Amanda Workman. Mrs. Chambers lives in Patricksburg, the others in Spencer. There were 11 grandchildren, 13 great grand children and one great great grandchild present. The latter was a child of N. G. Hickam of Freedom.Those present from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. Adam Roberts of Sanborn, Ind., and Mrs. Mary Workman and daughter, Mrs Lula Glover, of Lawrence* ville, III.The day proved a very enjoyable one and Mrs, Workman was the recipient of numerous beautiful remembrances and sindigd felicitations.
