Expanded nutrition graduates get awards at luncheonThe first graduation for homemakers enrolled in the Expanded Nutrition Program was held Monday at the Wesley Chapel A.M.E. Church. The Program Aides first visited these homemakers in their homes and later part of the program, the homemakers worked in a nutrition group.E.N.P., a program of the Texas Agriculture Extension Service provides information on foods and nutrition, meal management, food buying, food storage and sanitation. After the homemakers complete the lessons they graduate into other Extension Service programs.This group of homemakers has formed an Extension Homemakers Group which will meet four times a year. They will have various programs on Home Economics Information from Home Demonstration Agent, Judy Dedeck.
