Scarlett, hostess, met with Circle Five. Albritton, leader and hostess.PILGRIMS AND INDIANS — First, second and third graders at Bowie Elementary School enjoyed their Thanksgiving dinners at school Tuesday clad in the traditional costdme of the Pilgrims and Indians of the first Thanksgiving in 1621. Shown above are four of the youngsters as they enjoyed their feast. The two on the left, Jacob and Debbie Loafer, are Sioux Indians. originally from Piedmont, S.D.. and wore their headdress with pride. Jacob is in the third grade andDebbie the second. The quartet includes, left to right, Jacob Loafer. Debbie Loafer. Mary Young and Robert Barrett. The latter two are in the third grade. All the primary students, first through third grades, entered the Bowie cafeteria together and sang Father We Thank Thee-’ in unison. The Bowie youngsters in the lower grades traditionally follow this custom of dressing in the costumes of their forefathers.
