The amount in money represented it $103,641 25. The transfers were made to William J. Baker, who represents the Ft. Thomas Land Syndicate, and were from prjvate individuals. The land all lies in the Highlands and Cold Springs Districts, just back of Newport. Thetransfers are recorded as follows:John Schweitzer and wife, 42 acres, $8,500; Li.ae May and J. G.
