Th^rdaughter, JMIsa Qora, reached the sixteenth mile-stone of life yesterday, and last evening a large party of friends congregated to celebrate the occasion. The house wasbrilliantly illumi n a ted, and an elegant repast served, after which the merry guests indulged in tripping the light fantastic toe until the wee sm7 hours. Miss Bertie Bass entertaihed the guests with some fine music on the piano, and received many compliments. -Miss Cora was the^ recipient of many handsome presents, among which was an elegant necklace of precious stones, thegift of her admiring friehds.tiTaken altogether, the party waa the social event of the season among our coloredfriends, YYY* -- /ji
