«*VOn June 18. 1889. Rev. Atwood was united in marriage with Miss Laura * Emma Knox, at her home in Wooster, v Ohio. To the union three sons were a born, two surviving, William K. At-wood, 1023 West 38th Street, Kansas r City, Missouri, and Dr. Harry D. Atwood, of A jo, Arizona. Besides the sorrowing wife and sons. Rev. Atwood leaves two brothers. Theodore O. At- ' wood, of Humbolt, Nebraska, and Ben- * jamin D. Atwood, of Sandpoint, Idaho e One sister, Mrs. Anna Wilkinson, of t Lincoln, Nebraska, and two grand- * children, Harry W. and Marian R., 8 children of Dr. and Mrs. Harry At- r w'ood and a number of nieces and neohews. T IRev. Atwood was a member of all * the Masonic bodies of the State ol tMissouri. He was recently awarded a s button reserved for Masons of fifty * years continuous membership. Mr. At- a wood had held the office of Grand Chaplain of Royal Arch Chapter of 8 the State of Missouri. ; cRev. Atwood was likewrise very faith- t ful in all phases of religious life of the t Presbyterian Church. On three differ- t ent occasions he was elected as com- C missioner of local Presbytery to the c general assembly of the Presbyterian I Church of the United States. He also 1 served a term as the moderator of the Synod of the Presbyterian Church 8 of Missouri. 4
