Mrs. Adams, a pioneer resident of York Township. waa born in Kentucky, Nov. 18, 1847, Her husband, SpencerAdams, died 27 years ego, Mrs. Adams has four living: children andfour dead. Those living are, Mrs. Lee Swearingm, Mrs. Sam Covert, William Adams, and Andrew Adams. In spite of her advanced « years, Mrs. Adams is fairly active) ! and resides alone near the home of her son, Andrew.driven by George Hankinson, Olh Floodwbod. Eugene Pickett, Meeker Run and William Dean, of Nelson-ville. The Pickett, machine was had-ly damaged. Occupants of the carsescaped injury.The Kimberly Mine was in operation five days the last week.Because many miners planned totake advantage of a Saturday holi-jday to go rabbit hunting the regular monthly miners’ meeting scheduled for Saturday was postponed.William Donaldson and family ] moved npar Amesville, Tuesday.
