Friends and relatives are invited from 4 to * pm at 343 Wall Avenue, Ogden They request that there be no gifts.Mr. and Mrs. Owen were married in the Logan LDS Temple on November 23 1904 Both have been active member* of the LDS church all of their live*.Mr. Owen wa* born in Hams-ville, Utah. November 13, 1879, a *on of W illiam F and Elizabeth Kawon Owen. He filled a two year mission for the LDS church in the Southern States and served j in the bishopric of the View Ward, j Burley, Idaho, under Bishop Charles S. Wood and Bishop Levi If Draney. In 1927 the family moved to Ixgan where Mr. Owen engaged in truck gardening. In the Iogan 12th ward he served in the Sunday School, junior genealogy and priesthood organization, was first counselor to Bishop J A. Meservy and later became bishop of that ward. He was released in 1947 after serving four years.Mrs. Edith S. Owen u as born In Harris ville on July 17, 1880 a daughter-of Francis M. and Alta Hancock Shurtlliff Mrs. Owen ha* worked in the Sunday School, Primary and as president of the YWMIA and Relief Society She has done a great deal of crocheting. knitting and other hand work.Mr. and Mrs. Owen are the parents of eight children, six of whom are still living.
