REV. E. J. BILY PLEASANTLY c SURPRISED MONDAY oA large number of parishioners gathered at the parish hall Monday night, to honor our assistant pastor, Father Bily, on his birthday anniversary. A fine supper of turkey, sausage, sandwiches, cake and other good eats was enjoyed.On arriving at the Hall, congratulations were expressed by Daniel Marek and Evelyn Werner. Dr. F. M. Wagner gave an appropriate address to which Rev. Bily graciously responded. Mons. L. P. Netardus, then delivered a nice talk. J. R. Mikesh was master of ceremonies. The whole affair was a complete surprise to Father Bily and a very pleasant feature of the surprise was, that his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bily, sister Miss Frances and brother Frank Jr., were among the well-wishers who came to extend congratulations to our assistant-pastor.Last but not least, the occas-hPhwlrgtlrralt;tlhihiP-altlmSiRIrion was made merry with the tunes of our popular Pateks j b Orchestra.
