H. L. Gorrell, principal of Washington High school, announced the decision this morning. After Commissioner Townsend hid declared the westenders ineligible Massillon authorities carried the case to the district board which held t special meeting Friday to decide the Issue, and It concurred with the decision of the state head. Both teams are expected to use their strongest lineup this afternoon despite reports coming from Mas-ililon early this week, stating that several of the Orange and Black players would not be able to play.Coach Peabody of McKinley declared hla squad was in fine shape nd was expecting a victory this afternoon. The two teams appear so evenly matched, that it looks like the eleven that plays the smartest football and takes advantage of the break* will win.Victory to McKinley will mean uch for the team and its coach, t the present time the Red and Black has won four games and lost like number. That is the best ord made by any local team since 1150 when the team went throughndefeated and unacored on.In 1921 the McKinleyitcs registered three victories, tied three games and lost a like number. Of the three games that were lost, the Winners scored only seven morepoints than the losers. Not since that time has McKinley had a club that has done as good as break even.Possession of the University club cup is also at stake, in the fracas today. Massillon has won It for the last two seasons, and a victory this afternoon will give them permanent possession of the trophy without either Alliance or McKinley getting a grip on it.Neither team is expected to use a line pjnging attack, hut it 1* believed that both will use a running attack, and mix forward passes with it. McKinley is especially adept atcompleting passes, and at least their record for the year shows that, and the locals are expected to try many of them. The probable lineup for the game:McKinley. Pop.
