65TH ANNIVERSARY1945 201DGeorge H. and Lois (Anderson) Patterson, of Greenwich, Northern Cambria, celebrated 65 years of marriage on Nov. 17.They were married Nov. 17, 1945, in Garmantown, Northern Cambria. The couple have resided in Indiana County most of their lives.George served in World War II from 1944 to 1946. He was part of die Military Police. He was employed by Season-All Industries and later retired from Greenwich Colleries, Soudi Portal.Lois was employed by Van Husen (Barnesboro shirt factory) but was primarily a homemaker.They are die parents of six children: Jerry (Donna) Patterson, of Gipsy; George Tom” (Marilyn) Patterson, of Commodore; Linda (Jesse) Detwiler, of Commodore; Richard (Dolores), both deceased; Debra (Gary) Rummel, of Cly-mer; and Rodney (Peggy), of Dixonville.They also have 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.George enjoys hunting fishing and being outdoors. Lois enjoys her flower and vegetable gardens.
