GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY — Arthur and Emma Streich will celebrate 50 years of marriage with an open house for relatives and friends Saturday Nov. 22, 7 to 9 p.m., at Memorial Salem United Church hall, the couple, who were married Nov. 22, 1936 near Irvine, farmed in the district until 1949 when they moved into Medicine Hat. They have two daughters and four grandchildren. Gifts gratefully declined. —News photo Frank Webber
