OBSERVE ANNIVERSARY — Mr. and Mrs. Leon Cartwright, Elk Mound, observed their 53rd wedding anniversary Sunday with open house at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Erwin Wiseman. Bora and raised near Elk Mound, the couple was married there. They have lived on a berry farm, but spent the last four winters in the village. The couple has five children: LeRoy, Eau Claire; Mrs. R. J. Robertson, Eau Claire; Mrs. Marjorie Myers, Oshkosh; Mrs. Linton Hainer, Seattle, Wash.; and Mrs. Wiseman, Elk Mound. They also have 13 grand* children and 14 great grandchildren. Miss Myra Vaughn, one of the couple's attendants of 53 years ago, was present at the observance.
