Mary Ann HicksMary Ann Hicks, 96, of Paris died at 11: JO a.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, 1995, at St. Joseph's Hospital and Health Center. ]Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, at * the Trinity Baptist Church in Reno with the Rev. Otto i Bishop and the Rev. Terrell Hill officiating. Fry and i Gibbs Funeral Home will make burial in Forest Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends ‘ from 7-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.Mrs. Hicks was bom in Blossom on Feb. 14, 1899, 1 a daughter of S.S. and Idora Gray Wharton. She mar- ‘ ned Elmer Roscoe Hicks on Dec. 24, 1922. He died June 6, 1942. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Baptist Church.Surviving are a daughter, Paula Kelley of Paris; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Lee and Otto Bishop of Paris; two sons and daughters-in-law, E.C. and Polly Hicks and Bill and Ethel Hicks, all of Paris; one son-in-law. Kenneth Piatt of Illinois; one brother, Wesley Wharton of Paris; 20 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchil-dren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Lola Piatt, and five grandchildren.Pallbearers will be Virgil Kelley, Ricky Hicks, Billy Hicks, Bradley Scheer, Mark Suhar and Max Lee.
