VO-TECH OFFERS NEW COURSEA student must have 1080 class hours to complete the course. The course may be completed in either one or two years. A total of 29 students are enrolled in morning and afternoon classes.Some of the content of Auto Body and Fender Repair is sheet metal repair, glass replacement, body filling techniques, body surface preparation, painting and refinishing and fiberglass body repair.Theme Is PatrioticPoul Garten seems proud of the students in the auto body shop.The newest course at the Vo-Tech School is the Auto Body and Fender Repair taught by Mr. Paul Garten.The class is held in the new addition to the Vo-Tech. All of the tools and equipment are up-to-date, including a new spray paint booth.The objective of the class is to prepare students for employment in auto body, fender repair and refinishing.The CHS Thanksgiving Assembly will be under the direction of Claude T. Smith and Gerald Schmidt Wednesday, Nov. 21.The high school assembly will be at 9:30 with the Junior High’s beginning at 10:30. Dr. Earl C. Griffith will present the sermon.The assembly will have a patriotic theme. Some of the numbers the band will play include: America theBeautiful, The Doxology, and God of Our Fathers.The third and fifth hour mixed chorus will join the band for the last number.
