Couple married at Wesley ChapelMiss Jessie Lynette Axton, daughter of R.L. and Jessie Ax-ton of Ruston, and Wesley Payton Chandler, son of Helen and Dean Chandler of Arcadia, were married Nov, 4 at Wesley Chapel Church in Ruston with the Rev. James Evans officiating at the double ring ceremony.For her wedding* the bride chose a gown of opulent white satin. The sweetheart neckline was appliqued with Alencon lace, seed pearls and iridiscents accenting the long sleeves. From the elongated bodice a full skirt fell gracefully to a chapel length train.Her headpiece of silk flowers and pearl sprays framed the face and the illusion fell in the back to fingertip length. She carried a silk bouquet.The bride was attended by her sister, Stacy Lynelle Axton, as maid of honor. Rachel Claire Axton, a cousin, was the train bearer and Angie Taylor was the flower girl. Ricky Axton, son of the bride, was the ring bearer.Wedding music was provided by Anetie Murphy.The groom was attended by his father, Dean Chandler, as best man.A bridal reception followed in the home of the bride.
