Their children (include sons Walter of Three ' Oaks, Howard of Benton liar-bor, Charles and Vernon of Stcvensville, and a daughter, Mrs. Tom Frnkes of Stevens-vilJo. The couple also has 20 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.Mrs. Avery is a member of the St evens villc Methodist church and president of the Twin City Cold Star Mothers, Another son, William Avery Jr., was killed in World War II.Mr. Avery has been a baker in this area tor the last 45 years and at one time operated his I 1 own wholesale bakery in Slcv-: i cnsvillc. He retired in 1961.
