Pearson, 55, ol Rt 4, Delphi, 25-year owner and operator of the Pearson Barber Shop in Delphi, died at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday of last week at Veterans Hospital, Indianapolis, where he was a patient one day. He has, been ill since February, 1969.The son of John A. and Maude Temple Pearson, he was born June 20, 1915, in Carroll County., His marriage in 1936 at Crown Point was to Fern H. Heater.He was a veteran of World War II, a member of Post 75 American Legion of Delphi and Hickory Grove Church.Surviving with the widow are one daughter, Mrs. Stephen Howard of Fort Wayne; a brother, Ralph Pearson of Fairborn, phio; four sisters, Mrs. Wilma Lull of Beech Grove, Mrs. Opal Collins of Wolcott, Mrs. Betty Taskey of Battle Ground and Mrs. Mary Van Meter of Monticello; and one grandchild.A brother preceded him in death.Funeral services were conducted Saturday at SuUivan-Lloyd Funeral Home in Delphi. The Rev. Steven Winners officiated and interment was in Riverview Cemetery, Monticello.
