Monessen kicked off, but Normal soon lost the ball on downs. Alter falling to gain, Parr made a 40-yard punt, Williams getting the ball for Normal. Adair then went around the visitors left end for 35 yards. Normal lost the ball, Feightner and Smith tackling their men for a loss. Monessen then advanced the ball 20 yardB but lost on a fumble, McCreight getting the ball. Slight gains, fumbles by both sides and several exchanges of punts kept the ball In Monessen's territory until the half ended.Normal changed her tactics in the second half and soon sent Adair, Bowman and Calhoun around Mones-sen’s ends for long gains. Monessen held well within her five-yard line but on the last down Moorhead was sent through Seanor for the required five yards making a touchdown. Calhoun failed at goal. Farr kicked off to Bowman who carried the ball back 30 yards. Calhoun fumbled and Smith got the ball. Smith and Parr made several good gains but Monessen soon fumbled. Calhoun kicked to Parr. Failing to gain, Farr kicked to Williams. Normal carried the ball to Monessen’s 20-yard line.
