Juniper St. were honored Saturday night with a dinner in the Saturn Room at Holiday Inn in celebration of their golden wedding anniversary.The couple was married Nov. 6, 1926, by the Rev. H. G. Bryant at the First Baptist Church parsonage on West Ave.Giving the dinner in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Waller were their five sons and their wives, including Mr. and Mrs. Ray Waller and sons, Mike and David; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Waller Sr. and children, Pam of the home, and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Waller Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Anderson; James Waller; Bob Waller and children, Brian and Dale; and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Waller and sons, Derek, Barryand Greg.James Waller presided and the Rev. Mark Andes offered the invocation.The three - tiered yellow anniversary cake, ornamented with fall flowers and the gold numerals “50”, was served for dessert with ice creamMr. and Mrs. Charles E. Cline announce the birth of a son, Charles Edward Cline Jr., on Oct. 28 at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital. The new arrival has two sisters, Cathy, 5, and Christy, 16 months old.
