Carl C. ClemensonCarl C. Clemenson, 76, Montrose, died at Sacred Heart hospital in Ft. Madison at 6:20 a.m. today. He had been a patient for four days.Born June 11, 1892 at Keokuk, he was the son of John and Carrie Middleton Clemenson. He was assistant supervisor of Diesels for the Santa Fe railroad until his retirement in 1957.He married Olive D. Waider in Keokuk Nov. 25, 1920. lie served in the US Army in World War I and was a member of the American Legion.Survivors include his wife, three sons, LaVerne of Ft. Byron, III., Robert of Montrose, and Bernard of Quinc, ill , n daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Marilyn) Madden of Liberty, 111 , and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sons and one daughter.Funeral service will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at DeJong’s Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl Amos officiating. Interment will be in the Montrose cemetery.
