Doylestown.A graduate of Boston University, Mrs. Rutledge has dedicated her life to social service. During World War II she was director of the American Red Cross. Cape Cod Branch, in Massachusetts. Also in Massachusetts, she was field director of various social service organizations and worked as a volunteer with the SPCA.From 1947 to 1950, Mrs. Rutledge worked as a field representative for the UN, serving in Italy under the UNICEF program. She also worked with underprivileged children in the Middle East.Upon arriving back in the United States, Mrs. Rutledge became associated with Planned Parenthood in New York City.She moved to Bucks County in 1960, and was a director of the Bucks County Community Services Council until 1963. Mrs. Rutledge has also served as a member of the board of directors of the Bucks County SPCA and as co-chairman of the Bucks County Juvenile Home Citizens Committee.Mrs. Rutledge says she has
