Huddlestonc ob-served the 40th anniversary of their marriage recently and were the recipients of gifts and messages of congratulations onthe occasion.\dam Huddlestonc and Amelia M Carswell were married at Gladstone by ihc late Rev. J W Uidd Thcv lived at Portage la Prairie and MacGregor be fore coming to Carbcrry 14 years ago. Mr. Huddlestonc worked at carpenter work and a!*j with the railway.Mr. Huddlestonc. now years old. enlisted at the time of the Boer War. and also served with the Ttv.h Battalion in the First World War. He is one of the oldest members of the Canadian Legion. He was born at Portage la Prairie and Mrs Huddlestonc is a native of the Neopawa district.Their family consists of a daughter and soo, Margaret and William, both of whom reside with their parents.Among those attending the relebrations were Mr and Mrs W W. Hcid and David of Regina
