Goering’s AutomobileBrought to BristolThe captured automobile of Hermann (loering, the No. 2 Nazi, was driven to Bristol last evening.The ear was in charge of Lt„ John (’ole. Wood and Washington streets, who came to town to visit his parents, and was invited to the American le gion Horne, where pictures were taken of the car and men of the crew.The men of the crew with Lt. . Cole were: T/3 Joe Azara (who I captured the car), S/Sgt. Laako, T/5 Bendas. T/5 Spencer, PFC Kiral. PFC' Hunt, PFC Lewis.The car was captured by T/3 JoeAzara, 20th Armored Division, in Laufen, Germany. It is 19^ feet long and weighs 8,200 pounds. It is an N-cylinder Mercedes-Benz, 100 b. p.. with 125 m.p.h. maximum speed. It has a supercharger which automatically operates at 95 m.p.li.The windows and windshield are 1V2 Inches thick. The windshield weighs 175 pounds. The body Is one-half inch armorplate throughout with a Vfe-inch armor that rolls over half ot the top to protect the rear seat.ard«injovistSJ
