The River Forest Golf club was presented with a handsome silver lov* ing cup last Thursday evening by Henry W. Austin. The prize was won in a series of games played with Westward Ho, The cup was presented at a flallowen social event, which was attended by about 200 of the society people of River Forest and Oak Park. The party was designated an interesting poster entertainment, and ovet I one hundred of those in attendance, were dressed in strange and fantastic^ costumes to represent. well known poster advertisements. Prizes warn awarded to W. H. Winslow and Mias Agnes Graoelon for the quaintest costumes. The clubhouse was decorated with posters, jack-o-laaterne and Japanese lanterns.
