Joan and Don A. CooperDon A. and Joan Cooper of Aztec celebrated their 50lh wedding anniversary. There was a surprise card shower held while they are traveling.Joan Mace and Don Cooper were married on Nov. 3. 1944, in Albuquerque. They met while Don was in the Army Air Corps and Joan worked at the PX. They moved to this area in 1952.Don is a retired compressor plant operator and Joan is a homemaker. They enjoy traveling and reading.They have three children, Don A. Cooper Jr. and wife Bonnie of Farmington: identical twins, Annette Cooper of Farmington, and Janette Cooper, deceased (1989); grandchildren Michele l.aux. Amber Laux. and Melissa Cooper.
