Glasener/50CEDAR FALLS — Howard and Betty Glasener of 3500 Carlton Drive, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary next Sunday with a surprise open house from 1 to 5 p.m. at their home.The event will be hosted by their friends and children: Mr. and Mrs. Duane {Dixie) Christian, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Glasener, Mr. and Mrs. David Glasener, and Mr. and Mrs. Burton Glasener.Mr. Glasener and Betty Greever were married Nov. 16,1938, at Colorado Springs, Colo.Mr. Glasener is retired from farming and Rath Packing Co. Mrs. Glasener is a doctor’s assistant-office manager for Dr. EdwardMr. and Mrs. GlasenerCeilley.There are nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. One daughter, Jane, is deceased.
