Tripodis ObserveAnniversary Today..Mr. and Mrs. Vincenzo Tripodi of 638 Broadway Blvd. were honored at a Mass today at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, Steubenville, followed by a family dinner at the American Legion Hall in observance of their 50th wedding anniversary.Mr. Tripodi and the former Amelia Buffone were married Nov. 26, 1926, in St. Anthony’s Church. Father Idone officiated.Mrs. Tripodi is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Vincenzo Buffone of Reggio Calabria, Italy.Mr. Tripodi is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Vincenzo Tripodi Sr. of Rogliano, Italy.He is the retired owner and operator of the Venetian Restaurant in Steubenville. They are members of St. Anthony’s Church. Mrs. Tripodi is a member of the Catholic Woman’s Club of St. Anthony’s. Mr. Tripodi is a member of the Columbus Club and the Jeffersonian Club.They are the parents of two sons and two daughters: Vincenzo Tripodi of Steubenville, Paul Tripodi of Bowie, Md., Mrs. Ernest (Jenny) Lamatrice of Steubenville, and Mrs. Joseph (Josephine) Quattrone of Steubenville.
