Konkols Renew Nuptial VowsMr. end Mrs. Anion Konkol, Amherst, renewed their nuptial vows Saturday at 9 a.m., preceding a Mass of Thanksgiving at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Church, Fancher, the same church In which their marriage took place a half century ago. The Rev. Thaddeus Szczerbicki, who officiated, offered the benediction for the Golden Jubilarians before an altar- decked with yellow and bronze rhums, gold leaves and ferns.The couple was preceded to the altar by two of their grandchildren, Cheryl Lockwood and Kenneth Kbnkol, dressed as a miniature bridal couple and a greatgrandchild, Kim Koss who acted as flower girl. Then followed fiveof tljp original attendants, Mrs. JosephJoseph Sopa, Mr. and Mrs. AlexPatoka and Max Trzebiatowski.*Mr. Kionkol was presented with a gold cane and Mrs. Konkol a gold crucifix.For the Golden Anniversary event Mrs. Konkol chose a Luriks brocade mettalic sheath with a wide cowl neckline. A gold velvet beaded pillbox hat and matching accessories completed her ensemble. A gold ribbon tied her corsage of cymbidium orchids.After the mass breakfast was served to the immediate family and relatives at the Wildwood Gardens. A gold and white theme was carried out in the dining room and hall decorations.Dancing followed the dinner which was served to about 100 families at 4:30 p.m. Guests attended from Chicago, Milwaukee. Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Mequon, Menasha. Rosholt, Wisconsin Rapids and local areas.Mr. and Mrs. Konkol were the parents of 14 children, three of whom have since died. The 11 living children were present for the occasion. They are: Sister Mary Philomene SSJ, Chicago; Sister Mary Donvina SSJ, Milwaukee; Sister Mary Rosabel le SSJ. Stevens Point; Mrs. Henry (Ernestine) Herman, Mrs. Lloyd (Virginia! Miller, Mrs. Gilbert (Mary Ann) Zakrzewski and Mrs. Leo (Antoinette) Hoppe, Milwaukee; Conrad and Dominic Kon-MR. AND'MRS. ANTON KONKOLMrs. Lawrence .(Marge) IwanskL Mequon. The honored coupM have 34 grandchildren and eigty great-grandchildren. ;Mr. and Mrs. Konkol were both bom in the Town of Stockton. Mrs. Konkol Is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. AndrewTrzebiatowski.
