Rev. and Mrs. Karl Scott of Nitro will celebrate their 50th wedding . anniversary tomorrow. He is the son of Alphonse Scott of Black Betsy and she is the daughter of Mrs. Betsy Simmons, aiso of Black Betsy.Rev. and Mrs. Scott are the parents of ten children. Nine of the children are still living. One son, Capt. Clarence K. Scott, was killed in World War II.They have 17 grandchildren.
