Faivres Mark Silver JubileeA 25th wedding anniversary celebration was held (or Mr. and Mrs. Clovis A. Falvre Sunday, Oct. 17 In the Rocky Grove Fire Hall.The surprise event was hosted by the couple’s son, C. Fred Falvre. Centering (he buffet was a three-tier wedding cake, topped with a large silver bell, and lighted tapers featuring appointments.The former Catherine Claudlne Pierce and Clovis A. Falvre were married October 15, 1951 In St. Patrick Church, Franklin with the pastor. Rev. UrbanS. Barrett, officiating.Mrs. Charles A. Ralph of Oil City was matron or honor for her sister. Regis F. Falvre ofCleveland was best man for his brother and ushers were Charles A. Ralph and Thomas PetuJla, both of Oil City.Aides for the reception were Mrs. Robert Cavanaugh, Pamela Cavanaugh, Mrs. C.E. Ralph, Mrs. John Davidson and Susan Armenl. Mrs. C. A. Ralph was in charge of the guest book.Mrs. Falvre is employed by the Army Store In Oil City and Mr. Falvre is an employe of the Pennsylvania Electric Company.They reside at 915 Rocky Grove Ave.Guests attended from New York, Erie and surrounding f areas.
