siaitery 01 -Monne, iu.Mr. and Mrs. Otto Schricker celebrated their silver wedding: anniversary at a recent party for 50 relatives and close friends in their home at 7134 Eggleston ave. Out-of-town guests includedrelatives from St. Louis, Denver and Rockford.Mr. Schrlcker was born in Milwaukee and came to Chicago with his parents when he was a small child. Mrs. Schricker,* a lifelong resident of South-town. comes from an old Chicago family. Her grandmother, Mary Qua id Emery, was one of the first women to ride on the Rock Island railroad, being a passenger on its initial run out of Chicago on October 10, 1852. Her grandfather, Charles Emery, was a member of the city fire department during the great fire of 1871, at which time one of the fire department hose carts was housed in the Emery basement.Mr. Schricker. a welder, is an ardent baseball and football fan. Mrs. Schricker also follows sports closely. He is a member of the Forest camp No. 4147: Royal Neighbors of America, she of the Garden Homes Bunco club.The couple have two daughters and a son. They are Dorothy, 23, Jean. 17. and Robert. 21, who left recently for Wichita Falls, Tex., where he is serving m the army air corps as a radio technician.
