Hoskinson, south side harness man anti Second ward voter, Monday evening finished for himself a new pair of hoots and Tuesday morning, at the age of 90 years, wearing his now hand-made footwear, went to the polls and wfas among the first to vote. It is unnecessary for the Journal to remark that he voted the straight Republican ticket; a thing he has constantly done since the party was organized; and he voted for Fremont in ’56 and Lincoln in ’60. Another thing Mr. Hoskinson has done through all those years—made his own boots. And advanced in years as he is he goes daily to his store and puts in his full day at work.
