Doerfier then decided on the lie detector test for the youth.Shot While Tying ShoeDoerfier said Robinette admitted he took the gun from Its hiding place In the attic after school and accompanied Benson into the woods. At one point, according to the confession, Benson stooped over to tic his shoe, and Robinette took out the revolver and shot his playmate in the stomach.Authorities said they found the gun in the Robinette home and sent it to the state crime laboratory at Springfield for tests. The gun was unloaded when found.The Benson boy was burled Monday after services in Trinity Methodist Church at Ridgewood. Eight fellow boy scouts served as pallbearers.
