HALLOWE’EN PARTYOne of the most enjoyable affairs of the Hollowe’en season was the party given by Miss Jewel Riley for her young friends Saturday evening. Jack-o-lanterns, all in a row on the front fence, greeted the guests, each of whom was attired in Hallowe’en costume and masked which occasioned much merriment. Sheaves of coin and a profusion of Hallowe’en decorations were used throughout the house and grounds. The young folk were led from one eerie witche’' rendevous to another. In the cellar was a witches den where fortunes were told; the death chamber was next on the list, then the witches and “red devil’’ led the way to the bam where ghost stories, witches’ brew (hot chocolate), cookies, peanuts and autumn emblem candy were enjoyed.Mrs. Riley was assisted in entertaining by Mesdames John Kountz and Leonard Cowsert.
