Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Worthen Cele-• •brate Their Fiftieth WeddingAnniversary.Tuesday fifty years ago J. P. Worthen and Elizabeth Snyder were married in Grant county. The next day they moved to Hartford City and have lived here ever since.Hartford City at that time contained but ha’.f a dozen houses, and of the people who lived here then three are still here—Dr. Clouser, John Sbick and Mrs. Henry Huffman. Mrs. Worthen says that the second year after she came here she saw a deer grazing in what is now the south part of town.
