WashingtonAve., Chehalis.Doughty was bom Nov. 5, 1920, to Gamewell and Nellie Hamby in Lenoir, N.C. She was reared in Kimberly, Idaho.A Chehalis resident, she has lived in the local area for 62 years.Now retired, she worked for Green Hill School in Chehalis.Her hobbies are cooking and quilting.She participates in a local Bible study group and a grandmothers club in Brinnon. Wash.Her husband. Ed Doughty, died in November 1986.Doughty's daughter is Jan Peters of Chehalis.She has three grandchildren and eight grandchildren.
