Earl Harpers I Observe 25 th 1AnniversarymMr, and Mrs. Earl L. Harper, 501 Forest Street, celebrated liieir silver anniversary October 17 at the American Legion Home, Harrison Street.The Harpers were married October 14. 1944, by Rev. H. Sharp at St. Lake's Lutheran parsonage. Mrs. Harper is the former Betty Jane Pittman, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Piltman. Mr. Harper is the son of Boyd Harper/Moorefield, and the late Mrs. Nyanza Harper. He is the owner and operator of Earls' Garage, Wineow Street.The Harpers are the parents of two sons. Wallace Lee Harper, Oxon Hill, and Earl Harvey Harper, at home.Decorations and dinner were handled by the Auxiliary Wo- M men of the American Legion. ^ Dinner was served following a cocktail hour. Entertainment was by the ‘‘Country Notes/*W a 11 y Harper registered guests while Lana Harper, daughter-in-law of the Harpers, presided at the wishing, well and gift table.Guests present were Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Harper, Mrs. John Pittman, Mr. and Mrs. Henry S.
