eighty-fifth birthday anniversary last Wednesday at her cottage upon the Glockner grounds. The venerable lady was born on the same day when coronation ceremonies for King George IVoccurred. A portion of her early lifewas spent on the island of Ceylon, although she lias resided in this city for 30 years.Mrs. Garstin enjoys tho respect of a large number of citizens and site, received calls from the Misses Palmer. Mrs. G. A. Fowler and other frienris. She was also the recipient of beautiful flowers.Lines written for Mrs. M. A.
