Col-sher and wife was celebrated at their country residence near Piereeville, Sunday, October 29th.Fifty years' ago Pearlina Babcockwas marriedto Wm. Colsher at her home near Milan, where they lived until the year 1861, when they removed to Ptercevtile and settled*There they have since made theirhome and reared their family, which consisted of seven children, two of whom died in infancy. Three oi the five children living attended the golden wedding, and they, .with their chilren, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren made quite a large^mpahy. Added to these ^rere a number of other relativesand friends pf the family, and the house was filled with a happy party to celebrate the auspicious event. The happy couple, who have thus passed a half century in the bonds of affection, wore wished many returns of the day, and congratulations were extendi and thanks given to God for the mercies He has vouchsafed to themv A dinner of ther choicest viands a jfoitied by the land was' d!s-cossed, and the day passed«,in social ehjoyinehf.
