List Monday evening, October 29, li00, occureu tho golden wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Thomaa McCray. At an earjy hour the bouse was filled with invited guests and relatives, all the childreu being present. Rev. McCray, of Clarksville, or* bshnlf of the relatives, and Rev. Daily on behalf of the outside friends presented to Mr. and Mrs. McCray the numerous and valuable presents which the occasion called out and which showed clearly the high esteem in which they were held by their relatives and friends* After the presentation a sumptions supper, in four courses, was served at the resilience of Dr. McCray. The evening was most plaisacdy spent in social coat interspersed wiih raueic until nuduigh*, wben the guests departed,wlflhing Mr. Bud Mra. McCray many recti rrenca* of their wedding anniversary.
