Frank RJIrynHonored at Open HouseOpen hotne was held from 2 to 5 p. m. Sunday, May 26, at the Crest on library clubroomsto celebrate the golden weddinganniversary of Frank and Lura Riley. They were married May iMrs. John Riley introduced a short program which was pre-j rented by members of the im-! mediate family. Lucille Riley offered prayer and Mary Best read the history of the honored couple s marriage. jJeanne Riley. the oldest j grandchild, read a poem, “Fifty Years Together.“ Lucille Riley ! then showed slides of the section of Canada where she nowj lives and works. jRefreshments were served from an attractively decorated jtable centered with a tiered j wedding cake. Mrs. Charles Jones of Coming served punch and Mrs. Dale Purviance of Afton fioured coffee. Mrs. Winfield Ramsey of Corning and Mrs. Lyle Eivins of Kent served the cake.Jeanne Riley took charge ofthe guest book and Kay Kilgore opened and displayed the gifts and cards. Kitchen helpers were Mrs. Caroll Robison of Pres-■ cott, Priscilla Robison of Des Moines, and Mesdames Dale i Wilmeth, Max Kilgore. Herbert Jones and Ronald Sprague. I j Mrs. Frank Benltey supplied ! the lovely flowers which were used to decorate the receptionroom. 1'Hie anniversary gift from the,children was 50 silver dollars.The family was together for jthe first time in 22 years. Thechildren and their families areEarle Riley of Longview. Wash.,| Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Riley of {Kelso, Wash., Air. and Mrs. * i John Riley and family of Cres-ton, Lucille Riley of Quesnel, British Columbia, Can., and Mrs. Fred Best and family of LaMesa. Calif. One daughter-in-law, Mrs. Earle Riley, and three grandchildren were unable j j to be present.
