MR. AND MRS. CECIL DYER of route 2, Delphi, will observe their golden wedding anniversary on Sunday, June 3 v/ith open house from 2 until 5 p.m. They request that gifts be omitted. Mr. and Mrs. Dyer were married Juno 1. 1912 in Selina, Tennessee. They have seven children: Mrs. Lillie Mae Lemming and Mrs. Maude Davis of Brookston; Mrs. Ada Spali of Crawfordsville; Mrs. Geneva Patton of Brookston; Mrs. Mertie Rae Emmett of Slippen, Kentucky; William and Bennett Dyer, both of Delphi. There are 15 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. They have resided in this community about 15 years and are members of the Church of Christ of Delphi. Mr. and Mrs. Dyer reside on the Bradshaw farms, west of town, where he is the tenant.Photo By Rod key
