HONOR MEMBERThe W. M. U. of Miller’s Chapel gave a surprise birthday party at Lheir meeting yesterday afternoon, honoring Mrs. Amanda Millet', the oldest member of the society, who was celebrating her .seventy-first birthday. The party was given at the home of Mrs. .Take Harris, daughter of Mrs. Miller.A short program was presented, with Mrs. Walter Turner. Mrs. George Siler, Mrs. A race West, and Mrs. Joda West taking part. Mrs. Bill Frye read the secretary's report. ( .During the enjoyable social hour, delicious refreshments of ice cream and cake were sei'ved to the thirty-five members and guests who were, present. This number included throe now mem-.bcis who were added to the W. M. U., Mrs. Maynard Harris. Mrs. .Tamos Earle and .Mrs. Charles Smith.
